Al Gray is a BSAC Advanced Instructor and operates the Shearwater from Pwllheli Marina. He carries parties of divers by advance booking and also tourists to inspect the beautiful scenery, seals and dolphins. Bardsey Island (Ynys Enlli) is a regular destination. Tourist bookings are taken at Pwllheli Tourist Office in the town.

Paul Turkentine operates a DTI coded Tornado 6.5m deep-V hulled RIB with excellent sea handling characteristics. The boat has all possible safety features as well as a large colour GPS/Plotter/Sounder for wreck location. Paul carries parties of all sizes and dives all parts of the Lleyn Peninsular and Bardsey Island. The engine is a 130 hp Honda four-stroke.

When the weather is bad or you need somewhere safe to train, try Vivian Quarry at Llanberis. Registration costs £5 you pay £5 to dive.(Instructors dive free when training). Crystal clear water but try and get there early to avoid other divers stirring it up!
